The Challenge

Smith Auto Repair had been operating for 11 years with a loyal customer base, but their Google Maps presence was weak. They ranked around position 7 for 'mechanic near me' and similar searches — just outside the top 3 that Google shows by default. Because the vast majority of clicks go to the top 3, Smith Auto was effectively invisible to the most valuable segment: drivers with immediate, unplanned repair needs who search, see three options, and call the first one that looks credible.

The Solution

We ran a comprehensive local authority build. Starting with a full audit of their Google Business Profile, we corrected category assignments, added every applicable service attribute, built out a complete Q&A section, and implemented a weekly posting cadence. In parallel, we launched a citation clean-up and expansion campaign across 80+ directories to build NAP consistency and local authority signals. The Results
